Oh hey, you didn’t forget about me! I know, I know. Long time, no write. Moving back to Seattle seriously threw me for a loop. It’s been seven months since I returned to Seattle life; nine since leaving London. Many, many moons. I figured by now I’d feel settled and readjusted. Apparently, the universe didn’t get my memo that I’m on a timeline here since this whole “repatriation” thing is not going according to my detailed plan. Frustrating, since I documented said plan clearly in multiple lists across several mediums – scraps of paper, iPhone notes, Google docs, Outlook calendars, and verbally to all who would listen.
Until things sort themselves out on that front, I’m continuing to travel as often as possible. Europe may not be on my doorstep anymore, but there’s plenty to see elsewhere in the world.
During my radio (blog?) silence, I’ve been to the lush cloud forests of Costa Rica,
the pristine beaches of Maui,
and the frozen tundra of Iceland.
I never even recapped my summer break in Italy and Greece, memorieeess! So, here we go. I’m dusting off the keyboard and getting back to one of the few constant things in my life these days, my love for seeing new places and sharing them with you.
