Good morning! I spent the weekend running errands before my move to another part of London next weekend, celebrating a friend’s birthday with dinner and dancing on Saturday night, and taking a short 45 minute flight to Rotterdam, Netherlands yesterday where I’m staying for a work event in The Hague. I typically despise work travel over the weekend but the weather here is beautiful (at least it looks sunny through the hotel windows) and I’m enjoying the company of my American colleagues who I rarely get to see. Here is The Hague on a map – it’s about 30 minutes from Amsterdam and Rotterdam on the North coast of Europe.
My to-do list over the weekend included sorting through photos from Belgium and Copenhagen but honestly that was a bit ambitious considering it was the first weekend I’ve been home in the past month and I’m moving next weekend. Did I already mention that? I might be just a tad overwhelmed by that fact. Luckily I haven’t accumulated much in the past 7 months so it should be fairly painless to relocate. Plus, it will be a fun new chapter in my London life because I’m moving in with these lovely ladies:
Although I didn’t finish editing photos I did find some gems among them I’d forgotten about. My sister and I were having fun testing the video function on my camera and she was my main interview subject in some short movie clips we took throughout our travels. She is such a good sport, and very adorable on camera as you’ll see below. I’m not a video editing expert but they make me so happy, I miss you Laura, Relocated! Have a good week everyone.
